About the Role

As a Full-stack AI Engineer, the job will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance features through a data-driven approach. This role offers a high level of autonomy to identify opportunities to build generative AI system integrations within the platform. The position is part of the AI team, responsible for developing innovative AI features. The organization believes in ownership and is looking for individuals driven to continuously deliver new, impactful features and capabilities for users.

What You’ll Do

– Collaborate with Product teams to innovate the roadmap on AI features across the platform.

– Perform prompt tuning and optimization, developing and integrating tools to enhance LLM prompt queries for better observability within the platform.

– Implement improvements and new AWS AI/ML capabilities for sentiment analysis, language detection, and automated translations.

– Enhance NLP intent identification models, pipeline, and their integration with existing features.

– Analyze data for developer experiences and organizational-level business metrics within the data warehouse.

– Develop techniques to fine-tune generative AI models with platform data.

– Prototype advancements in AI technology and create new products to stay ahead in the fast-evolving ecosystem.

Your Qualifications

– 5+ years of software development experience.

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

– Strong proficiency in modern server-side languages such as Go, Python, or JavaScript.

– Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable and maintainable applications.

– Experience in building applications and features using LLM APIs.

– Familiarity with RESTful API development, integrating with external services and databases.

– Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.

– Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development processes.

– Familiarity with agents, langchain, vector databases, embeddings, etc.

– Strong diagnostic and debugging skills for complex issues, and ability to optimize application performance.

Nice To Have

– Active contributions on GitHub showing thoughtful and relevant engagement.

– Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Glue, and Athena.

– Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

– Familiarity with machine learning concepts.

– Awareness of privacy and security risks in AI.

– Experience with Agile methodologies and working within agile team environments.
