Project Overview
The Content Policy Stakeholder Engagement team collaborates closely with NGOs, advocacy groups, academics, and thought leaders worldwide to integrate their insights into our policy and product development processes. In this role, you ll work with the team focusing on generative AI products and issues to execute and deliver on key projects. You have a solid understanding of the AI policy landscape, including the global societal and political implications of AI technology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage complex logistics, and a highly organized approach to work. This is a full-time contract position.
Overall Responsibilities
• Design, plan, and execute online and offline policy events on AI, including managing event budgets, timelines, payments, and logistics, as well as building and shaping the agenda
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team to produce events aligned with team goals
• Design a set of standard templates and processes for various event types, incorporating feedback to improve event processes and attendee experience
• Serve as a vendor manager, including negotiating contracts with suppliers, assessing vendor performance, and optimizing collaboration with vendors
• Develop and implement engagement strategies with advocacy groups, academics, and think tanks to shape Meta s Generative AI product policies
• Cultivate relationships with key external stakeholders focusing on generative AI and AI safety
• Maintain a pulse on public dialogue related to generative AI and AI safety, including via synthesizing key research and policy papers on these topics.
• You may also join the policy on-call roster to help field policy questions on high priority escalations, with an expectation to think critically about complex problems and exercise excellent judgment under time pressure.
Mandatory Skills
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in law, public policy, communications, business, computer science, or AI.
• 3+ years experience in operations, project management, or program management at technology companies, civil society organizations, and/or in government
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, tasks, and track deliverables.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in analytical-thinking and problem-solving.
• Experience in engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to read, write, or speak Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, or French.
