Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to help keep our company’s databases updated. In this role, you will gather information from employees and customers, enter it into our systems accurately and quickly, and fix any errors you find. If something doesn’t look right, you’ll let the right people know.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect information like invoices, reports, and personal details from staff and clients.
• Review the information to find what’s important.
• Fix mistakes and organize the data for easy entry.
• Create and maintain accurate spreadsheets.
• Enter and update information in our databases.
• Ensure data is backed up regularly.
• Report any errors to the appropriate people.
• Organize hard copies of data for easy retrieval.
• Handle other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Good English skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to focus for long periods and work quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in touch typing.
