We are looking for a talented and experienced 2D Clothing Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in fashion design, with specific expertise in creating detailed clothing sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as developing comprehensive tech packs. This role involves bringing creative ideas to life, collaborating with the production team, and ensuring designs are accurately translated into finished garments.
salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

Responsibilities
• Design Development: Create original 2D clothing designs and sketches using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Tech Pack Creation: Develop detailed tech packs for each design, including specifications, measurements, materials, and construction details.
• Trend Analysis: Research and analyze current fashion trends to inspire new designs and stay ahead of industry movements.
• Technical Sketches: Produce accurate and detailed technical sketches that communicate design concepts clearly to the production team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with pattern makers, garment technologists, and other team members to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products.
• Concept Presentation: Prepare and present design concepts and mood boards to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Revision and Refinement: Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback and ensure the final sketches and tech packs meet the required specifications.
• Digital Portfolio Management: Maintain an organized digital portfolio of all design sketches, tech packs, and projects.
• Meeting Deadlines: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and production schedules.
