Job Description:
As a Part-Time Cashier and Pizza Maker at Pizza Zone, you will handle a variety of responsibilities, including managing transactions at the register and preparing pizzas. Your role is essential in ensuring that our customers have a positive dining experience and that our pizzas are made to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cashier Duties:
- Operate the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
- Manage the checkout process and provide correct change.
- Pizza Making:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assemble and top pizzas with ingredients.
- Ensure all pizzas are made to order and meet customer specifications.
- Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Keep the kitchen and work area clean and organized.
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a food preparation role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
